Why are we so afraid of the Hidden Valley Road?

The Hidden Valley road, a $10 billion highway from Houston to Dallas, has sparked a debate about the future of road safety in the United States.

The Hidden River Road, a 1.5-mile stretch of road from Philadelphia to Washington, D.C., also is under investigation.
